Leadership Team

Paul Luen
CEO & Founder

Paul is a massively successful entrepreneur and builder of businesses. He has operated in and with business enterprises in over 100 countries and has developed and sold innovations with a value of c£150 million and has amongst other things broadcast live on BBC to a worldwide audience.

He has a track record of investment and support in high growth sectors and has a particular interest in the whole net zero carbon reduction space and the benefits this can bring to the poorest in society.

He is also committed to mentoring young entrepreneurs which he does on a voluntary basis. 

Glenn Paddison
Supply Chain Director & Founder

Glenn has a strong supply chain background with a network of contacts both in manufacturing and distribution. A former Young Merchant Chairman at BMF, and Branch Director at MKM, he recognised that there was a need for businesses that can deliver Whole House Energy Retrofits in order to assist Private and Public Landlords to improve supply sustainability and to reduce household expenditure in this emerging sector. He co-founded the Company with Paul Luen and was Managing Director in the early years of it’s development.

Eddie Stanton
Managing Director

Eddie is a vastly experienced Board Director having served as MD & CEO on a number of different boards. With significant construction and contracting experience with names such as Baxi Boilers, Glenn Dimplex, Stewart Milne and Avonside Group. Forward thinking with an ethos of strong delivery, he is a team player with strong organisational skills and a commitment to the well being of all organisational stakeholders.

Married with 3 grown up sons, he is an avid supporter of Liverpool FC.

Steve Gainey
Commercial Manager

He has spent over 40 years within the construction and scaffolding sector, with particular focus upon Construction, Petro Chemical and Energy (Power Stations) ususally on large scale projects. He was founder of SGS Limited prior to selling the business, he brings a wealth of general management expertise within the business and has excellent supply chain networks.

Victoria Austin
Business Systems & Compliance Director

Victoria is an experienced and qualified manager and leader across many industries. Amongst her responsibilities are companywide compliance and accreditation management. A strong communicator, she is target and deadline focused. Her underlying philosophy is ‘the answer is yes – we just need to decide how’. She thrives on empowering people and developing their skills to the best of their ability and for the needs of the company. Based upon her experience she will analytically assess issues and identify and monitor KPI’s to resolve them with the other members of the team.

Sean Hunter
Operations Director

Sean has over 36 years experience within the construction industry working for main contractors. Previously roles included Managing Director with Ashcourt Construction and Construction Director for Houlton. He brings particular strengths in procedures and planning. Sean brings a wealth construction knowledge and will oversee Cocuun’s operational delivery.

Married with 2 Children and 3 Grandchildren. 

Steven Horne

Steve originally entered the construction industry when he joined a Dry lining subcontractor as a Trainee quantity surveyor in 2008, having previously worked in the pharmaceuticals sector.

Combining on the job training with education at a Leeds university Steve qualified as a Quantity Surveyor before eventually becoming a senior quantity Surveyor working on large scale prestigious city centre residential schemes for tier one contractors.

Having spent 7 years working in London Steve met his now wife and settled in Bath where he continued working as a surveyor before returning to his native Yorkshire and in 2020 and he took another senior role in surveying for a large regional fitout company where he stayed until 2023.

A new challenge awaited and during the summer of 2023 he made the transition to Cocuun working in the Energy/Retrofit sector wherever since he has become a valued member of the Cocuun commercial team working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Steve Brings a wealth of commercial knowledge across several construction sectors, a great team player with a client focused attitude and a lively personality.
